Roger Jurgens joined the MHN MFLC team in January 2009 during the expansion of the CYB program. As a Clinical Liaison, his current area of responsibility is that of Italy, Spain, Portugal and other parts of Europe.
Prior to coming to MHN, Roger was the Assistant Director of MHMR of Tarrant County, overseeing seven Adult Clinics serving over 5,500 lives. He has had the opportunity to work at the ground level with various software venders in the beginning of the development of an automated medical record system. Also as a part of the Specialized Services Division, Roger implemented several grant programs including two SAMSA grants and co-presented the outcome data at the National Homeless Coalition. Roger has worked in collaboration with University of Texas Arlington School of Social Work and the Department of Computer Science assisting in the development of an automated medication reminder computer program. In addition, Roger has also worked as the Program Director in several psychiatric hospitals and residential facilities working with children and adolescents.
Roger is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has worked in the Behavioral Health Field for the last 28 years. He holds a Bachelors’ of Arts in Philosophy from Judson College, a Masters of Arts in Education and a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary.
Away from work, Roger enjoys time with family, traveling and photography.
